CHALLENGING ASSUMPTIONS

We are a curiosity-driven ensemble that values and grows creative relationships, unique perspectives, and  collaboratively devised performance.

CHALLENGING ASSUMPTIONS

Our mission is to  create and present exceptional performance that challenges assumptions, shakes up stereotypes and gives voice to untold stories.

MAKING THINGS HAPPEN

CHALLENGING ASSUMPTIONS

MAKING THINGS HAPPEN

We don’t make performance about having a disability or not having a disability. We make work about life, about its surroundings, its imaginings, its rhythms, its angers and its celebrations.

Our Acknowledgement of Country

SEE acknowledges Australian's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, learn and work. We pay our respect to their Elders, past present and emerging, and to our shared future.

SIDNEY MYER performing arts award

Since 1984, the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards have celebrated excellence in the performing arts and provided direct financial support to artists and companies across Australia.

For the 2020 awards, celebrating the nation’s creative leaders was more important than ever. "The pandemic has been devastating for artists and everyone working in arts and culture in Australia", says Andrew Myer AM, Chairman of Sidney Myer Fund.
