Studio Program

The Second Echo Ensemble Studio Lab Program is where emerging artists come to build practice, test ideas and make work together.

The program is made up of a series of Studio Labs to explore creative practice:

  • Visual Art + Media LAB

  • Performance LAB

  • Ensemble LAB

Artists can take part in one or more LAB.

The program supports artist, art form and skill development enabling confidence and professional connection through sustained studio practice.

Artists aged 18+ are welcome.

Time, Space and Trust

The SEE Studio Program sits alongside and feeds into Second Echo Ensemble’s artistic program, while also standing on its own.

At its core, the SEE Studio Program is about time, space and trust — a place to make work, build practice and belong.

Participation does not require a commitment to performance or production outcomes. Artists are supported to define what growth looks like for them.

Open to artists aged 18 and over, the program runs in line with Tasmanian school terms.

Participants may use NDIS funding to support their involvement, and some material costs may apply depending on the Lab.

Are you ready to explore your creative potential?

The Studio Program is designed to support emerging artists aged 18 and over, including individuals with disability.

If you are interested in building your skills in the arts, curious, committed or just starting out, we'd love to hear from you.

Fill out the form and we'll be in touch with more info about upcoming opportunities, workshops and how to get involved.
