WE CELEBRATE DIVERSITY

We are a curiosity-driven ensemble that values and grows creative relationships, unique perspectives, and collaboratively devised performances.

WE CHALLENGE ASSUMPTIONS

Our mission is to create and present exceptional performance that challenges assumptions, shakes up stereotypes, and gives voice to untold stories.

WE MAKE THINGS HAPPEN

We don't make a performance about having a disability or not having a disability. We do work about life, its surroundings, its imaginings, its rhythms, its anger, and its celebrations.

It can sometimes seem that we are staring into the abyss. But in this time of turmoil, the artists of Second Echo Ensemble [SEE] feel the urgent drive to create anew, addressing the experience of living now – and the necessity of poetry, resilience and humour. This hunger to gather, play and bring to life has led to the creation of a series of remarkable new SEE works that will meet audiences across our 20th anniversary season in 2025.

SIDNEY MYER PERFORMING ARTS AWARD
